For Holiday Cottages in Carmarthen, Quail Cottage is one of three cottages, each privately situated within a STUNNINGLY beautiful secluded valley. Sleeping up to two people, this quaint cottage overlooks a small river (Afon Siedi) which is a tributary of the River Teifi renowned for salmon and sea trout fishing. The valley is surrounded by woodland and farmland with a rich variety of wild life including buzzards, herons, kingfishers, badgers and otters. The lovely beaches of Cardigan Bay are within a half hour drive.
Quail is a single storey cottage with electric heating. There is one double bedroom and a sitting room with log burner and TV with DVD. The kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge and microwave. There is a bathroom with a bath with shower, wash basin and toilet. There are fitted carpets throughout. This is an ideal hideaway for a romantic break for two.
Self Catering in South Wales
Quail Cottage is excellent for Self Catering in South Wales and the owners of Quail Cottage have a fly fishing lake which is well supplied with rainbow trout and brown trout. Fish caught in the lake are charged at £2.00 per fish. Salmon and sea trout fishing on the River Teifi can be arranged.
All cottages have the benefit of spring water. All fuel necessary and bed linen (but not towels) are provided. A games room with a pool table is on site. Pets are welcome. A babysitting service is available. Broadband links are on hand for visitors use. The owners recommend that visitors bring a torch and wellies.
